Some Christmas Videos

Here are some videos from Christmas morning. These aren't the best quality but they give you an idea of what it was like at our house this morning. Micah really enjoyed his sword and his cell phone. He takes after his uncles...some with swords...one with his cell phone. :)

Some December Pictures...**

We went to Whispering Pines Christmas Tree Farm and found our tree. We walked around the field a couple of times holding Micah, and at the beginning of the third trip, we got a lot less picky and cut down one of the next "acceptable" trees we saw. :)

Daddy with Micah at the Christmas tree farm. (Daddy had been sick the day before, and Mommy was not feeling so well when we went to get the tree. A couple of days after we got our tree, Micah got the same bug...:( But we are over it thankfully!!!)

The weather man says that our indian Summer is going to end very soon. Micah and I spent a long time playing outside Yesterday. It may be his last chance to play outside without being all bundled up for a while. piggy toes

Reading

Micah loves his board books. He's finally coordinated enough to turn the pages. He will sit still and talk to the pictures for a long time. This animal book is his favorite. When I read it to him, I tell him what the animals say, so he enjoys trying to imitate me.

Central Indiana Poultry Show

Micah went to his first poultry show yesterday. We attended the Lebanon, IN show and took a few of our ducks. Micah really liked the Toulouse Geese and the Turkeys. As you can see in the pictures, he had a great time looking at the birds in the pens on the ground.

Pumpkin Patch Kid

We have a really cool place not far from Grandpa & Grandma Smith's house called the "Proverbial Pumpkin Patch" Its is a small family run venture that is very pleasant to visit! They put colored tags on all of their pumpkins to indicate prices, but to make it even better, they include verses from Proverbs on each of the tags. We really enjoyed meeting the family, talking with them and enjoyed their pumpkin patch. We will definatly have to go back there.
