Micah update
I don't have any new pictures to post today, but I thought I would give a quick update on life with Micah.
He is keeping us VERY busy. He is scooting/crawling all over the place, but he desperately wants to walk. He isn't steady on his feet, but he's trying to pull himself up to stand whenever he gets a chance. Of course, once he gets up, the only way down is to fall : ( I found him standing against the rails of his crib a couple of mornings ago. He was very pleased with himself, but happy to see me because he couldn't figure out how to get back down.
He weighs about 22 lbs, and seems to be going through another growth spurt. He LOVES to eat anything and everything. Bananas are his favorite food, and mashed potatoes run a close second. He won't let me eat without sharing with him, and sometimes he ends up eating more off my plate than I do.
We spend a lot of time outside, and Micah loves to crawl around in the grass. He's tasted grass, leaves and dirt, and he gets VERY dirty. Fortunately he loves to "swim" in the bathtub, so getting dirty just leads to more fun for him. We bought a really nice jogging stroller off ebay, and we've been going for lots of walks. The stroller handles rough terrain a lot better than the old one, so walking is a lot less work for Jason and I.
Micah jumped off a chair and rugburned the end of his nose on Saturday. By Sunday, it was nice and red so he was nick-named 'Rudolph' at church. I felt so bad that he got hurt, but I know that it's just a normal part of growing up, and there will be a lot worse injuries to deal with later on! He is all boy....very active and into mischief...I'm glad he has lots of relatives to help me take care of him. He wears me out!
Well...I better go get something done while he's napping. I know he won't sleep long. He's too afraid he'll miss something fun.

Here is Micah and Uncle Lemuel playing piano. Micah loves to press the keys and hear the noises that the piano makes. Uncle Lem, is a very accomplished piano player, even though he is the last person that will admit it. Hopefully he may want to give lessons eventually...:)
