We had a photo-session before we left for the service at our church. Micah is such a wonderful little pill and Merileigh is such a sweet heart, I love her smile!!! She just makes me feel good when she makes eye-contact, and give you that smile. Merry Christmas!!!

Micah and His Buddy!

Micah loves spending time with Phillip. He's one of his best buddies! He is often shy at first, but once he finds him, I sometimes feel sorry for Phillip because Micah just won't stop. We are SO thankful for Phillip, and are so glad he lives so close by...we don't see him a lot, but we do get to see him a lot more than almost any other cousins. I think next to the uncles and aunts, Phillip ranks right up there as being "TOTALLY AWESOME" for Micah.

Some pictures to make up for lost time

Merileigh will be 4 months old on Wednesday. She weighs 17 lbs, and I have no idea how long she is...she doesn't hold still long enough for measuring! She's such a happy girl. She smiles at everyone who will catch her eye. Micah is her idol. She loves to watch him, and gets so excited when he comes into a room. He's pretty fond of her too. He says she's "My baby", and loves to share everything with her (thanks to him..she knows what a lollipop is, and she gets excited at the sight of one!).

She really likes her own bed. When she's tired, I just lay her in bed, and she sighs in contentment and goes to sleep.

I think she will start eating "real" food soon. She won't let me eat if I'm holding her. She tries to grab my plate, and anything on it.

She's a blessing, and very much loved!

Micah is in love.
Micah's boots. They take him to the barn to visit the goats, to the pasture to ride the horses and pet the cows, to the swingset, to the tractor...Pretty much anywhere muddy

Growing up

Merileigh is 3 months old. She's a very good little girl, and we can't imagine life without her.

She weighs 16.5 lbs. Her dark hair fell out and the new stuff is light brown with a lot of red. She has gray eyes, which are kind of a surprise. I kept thinking they would turn brown, but nope...they are going to be gray! She doesn't look anything like Micah...or me, or Jason. She actually looks a lot like my mom, which is funny since none of us got Mom's coloring.

She is rolling over, and tries to sit up, but ends up doing a nose dive most of the time.

Micah loves her, he thinks he can carry her. He always wants to share with her. He was eating a lollipop in the car one day while I was driving. I heard him say "Mimi LIKES it!" and looked back to see his lollipop in her mouth. :P

Here are the most recent pictures of Merileigh. She's growing up so fast! We couldn't ask for a sweeter baby. She has smiles for everyone from the time she wakes up in the morning.

Micah's Bike

Micah got a "bike" for his birthday from Grandpa Don. It's a little too big for him, but at the rate he's growing (two inches since October!) he will be able to ride it just fine before long. Right now he's perfectly happy to sit on it and push it around with his feet.

You have to forgive the "red-eye" as there is no picture editing software on this computer...we FINALLY have a digital camera again. Mommy got batteries for Daddy for his birthday so we are back up and running on the pictures...you never realize how much you miss something until you get it back.
